DurhamGate home, sweet home for Robson family

There’s no place like home for a DurhamGate family who have swapped their existing house for a larger three bedroom property, also on the development site.

The Robson family, who have lived on DurhamGate for three years, have moved into a new home on Eve Lane, which is only a five minute walk away from where they previously lived.

Spurred on by the need for additional space, the family of four choose to upscale to a larger property on the development, which features a double garage, study, utility room, spacious garden and is almost three times the size of their previous home.

After forming close ties in the local community and enjoying DurhamGate’s proximity to a range of local amenities and schools, their decision to stay on the site was an easy one.

Mel Robson, resident at Eve Lane, said: “Having already lived in DurhamGate for a while now, I feel part of a strong community that supports each other, which is why we chose Eve Lane when we needed to upsize.

“There was no doubt in our minds that we wanted to remain in the area and the developers were very accommodating when helping us find a home to match our needs as a young family.”

Helen Attley, Concierge Manager at DurhamGate, added: “The houses on Eve Lane have been built to a very high specification and will make the perfect “˜forever home’ for the Robsons. The surrounding areas perfectly complement the quality of our properties, which makes it the perfect place to live and work.”
